Winter sports sign-ups will take place on Wednesday, September 16 from 7:30 - 8:30 p.m. in Kane Hall. Don’t miss our homecoming game at Beverly Park against Queen of Martyrs on October 3rd.  The annual 7th & 8th grade Homecoming dance will follow that evening in Kane Hall.  The coaches have noticed a rash of flu symptoms and have asked that players bring and drink out of their own water bottles for all games.   Water will continue to be available at practices.   Also, if your child is feeling ill, please keep him or her home to get them better and to avoid passing germs to their teammates. Girls Basketball Basketball season is in full swing.  The old gym lighting has been replaced and new padding is on order and should be installed shortly.  This is all a part of our ongoing effort to upgrade our gym led by Frank Kelly and Marty O’Hara.  Thank you for helping with our gym rules that are designed to keep our “new” gym sparkling.  You may also notice that the well worn fifth grade uniforms have been replaced and all teams will soon be receiving new SJF monogrammed pinnys that can also be worn over the jerseys during games that our opponent also has blue uniforms.  Each will also be available for Boys’ basketball.
