Periodic Table of Elements Project
As a class, we will make a VISUAL PERIODIC TABLE for display in the junior high hallway. Each of you will have a part in this project, and will be responsible for creating a powerpoint slide for one or more elements.
Directions for Powerpoint Slide:
Change orientation to portrait.
Format Background with the solid color of your choice. Click Apply (NOT apply to all).
Delete Existing Text Boxes.
Research your assigned element to find Atomic Number, Symbol, Average Atomic Mass, and where this element can be found/what this element composes, etc. You will need to find pictures for this.
Insert four text boxes and include following information in each:
Atomic Number – top center, font size 40
Name – font size 40 – second line centered below atomic number
Symbol – center of slide, font size 96
Average Atomic Mass – bottom center, font size 40
Complete your slide by making a collage of pictures of your element in the background (behind text boxes).
