There is quite a bit of data involved in real-life problem solving. Some data is needed to find an answer, but often, not all of it. In this unit, you will work with both positive and negative numbers. You will add, subtract, multiply, and divide integers, and solve problems using order of operations. You will learn how to plot coordinates in the coordinate system. You will explore powers, exponents, and scientific notation.
