In solving problems, evaluating information is very important. You will need to recognize when necessary information is not given in a problem. In this unit, you will learn to use rules to determine whether a number is divisible by another number. You will determine the GCF and the LCM of two or more numbers. You will learn to compare, order, add, subtract, multiply and divide rational numbers. You will work with square roots and identify perfect squares; and identify square roots that are irrational numbers. Finally, you will use the Pythagorean Theorum with right triangles.
