All employees and volunteers
at St. John Fisher School and Parish are required to
complete a background check and participate in Virtus
training. The background check can be completed online. To
complete the background check,
click here. If you do not have a user ID and password in
this system, click on the link that says "click here to
register." Search for Fisher, and select either St. John
Fisher School or Parish in the box that says parish/school
agency. The access code for individuals new to the system is
"protection." You will be prompted later to create your own
user ID and password. Fill out the application completely.
You may save the application at any time, and complete it
later. Keep a record of your user ID and password.
To register for Virtus training,
click here.
Click on "Registration" in the green box. Select Chicago
Archdiocese. Create a username and password, and keep a
record of it. Fill out the registration form, and select a
three-hour Protecting God's Children for Adults session at a
time and location that meets your schedule.
Following the Virtus training, it is also required that you
keep up with periodic online training bulletins. You can
access your personal training through the
Virtus website,
using the username and password you created when you
registered for the Virtus training session.

variety of extracurricular activities.
