Dear Parents,
This is an update on a few current events. First, Tracy Olsen was kind enough to volunteer to coordinate a fundraising endeavor. Please check your emails for information on how to order from Schwan’s, an online grocer like Market Day, that will deliver directly to your home. First time orders placed through December will earn our class a rebate of up to 40%. This money will be allocated to fulfill the kid’s service projects.
Second, speaking of service projects, since we are currently working on fundraising, we will begin the service projects after Confirmation is complete. I will email the parents that volunteered to lead a group sometime in late February, so you can begin to think about ideas.
Third. I receive all but the pullovers from our Spirit Wear order. Tim Nitsche promises I’ll have those by Friday, so let’s plan on having a pick-up this Sunday, 11/18th from 1-5 pm. My address is 10401 S. Campbell. If you or your child can’t make it over on Sunday, please text me and we’ll arrange another day. 773.457.1899
Fourth. Game night invitations were emailed on Monday. Thank you to Maureen Demer for organizing!
Finally, at our parent meeting in August many of us volunteered for the 8th grade events that remain. I am still in need of a few parents to organize the reception for May Crowning that will now be held in Kane Hall following the ceremony. I do not have any further details, so the lead person will have to contact Mr. Fornaciari regarding the time of the event and exactly what he had in mind. Please let me know if you’d like to help.
