8th Grade:

Monday is Accelerated Math. This week we use the Exterior Angle Theorem to find the measures of the angles of triangles. We will finish the unit learning how to determine when two triangles are similar. Our Chapter 11 test is tentatively schedule for Tuesday, December 19th. Students will receive a study guide to help prepare for the test. Additional practice problems will also be posted on our Google classroom.

Our all school field trip to see the movie WONDER is this Wednesday, December 6th

8th Grade:

We continue this week working with angle theorems for triangles.  We will prove why the sum of the angles of a triangle equals 180°. Next, we will learn about exterior angles and remote interior angles.  We will have a quiz on Thursday, December 7th on angles formed by a transversal. Practice problems to help prepare for the quiz can be found on our Google classroom.

7th Grade:

We continue working this week with percents.  We will learn about calculating retail price using markups and markdowns. Next, we learn how to calculate simple interest. On Thursday, December 7th, we will have a quiz on converting fractions, decimals and percents.  There will be a practice quiz on our Google classroom to help prepare for the quiz.
