8th Grade:

The class of 2019 will celebrate Ribbon Mass at 8:15 am this Friday, May 24th.  The students will then be invited to Kane Hall afterwards for donuts and juice.  All are welcome to attend the Ribbon Mass.

We conclude our unit this week on two-way tables. We will finish the unit categorizing and analyzing data using a two-way frequency table. We will learn how to calculate a conditional relative frequency from our data. Our unit test on two-way tables will be Thursday, May 23rd.

Our last Accelerated Math will be Tuesday.  Students who need to complete additional objectives may come in early or work after school.

7th Grade:

We continue working this week on probability. We will learn how to find the probability of an event. We will learn how to describe the likelihood of an event. We will learn how to determine the complement of an event.

Our last Accelerated Math will be Tuesday.  Students who need to complete additional objectives may come in early or work after school.

8th Grade:

This week, we will work with two-way frequency tables. These tables help us organize and analyze data. They also allow us to review a number of the skills we have worked with this past year including proportions, percentages, and solving equations. Students will also begin working this week on a math lesson for our 2nd grade prayer partners. The lesson will be based on a math book chosen from our library.

7th Grade:

We conclude our unit on random samples and populations this week. We will review and complete a study guide in class. We will take a quiz on this unit Wednesday, May 15th. We will begin our unit on experimental probability on Thursday.
