The Week of October 2 – October 6

8^th Grade

Monday is Accelerated Math.  On Tuesday, we continue adding and subtracting using scientific notation. Next, we will multiply and divide using scientific notation.  Our unit test on real numbers and scientific notation will be Wednesday, October 11^th.  On Friday, we will complete a study guide in class to help prepare for the test.  Additional practice problems will be available on Google classroom to help students prepare for the test.

7^th Grade

Monday is Accelerated Math.  On Tuesday, we will take a quiz on multiplying and dividing integers.  A practice quiz can be found on Google classroom to help prepare for the quiz.  On Wednesday, we begin our next unit on rational numbers. We will convert rational numbers to decimals, then begin adding rational numbers with the same sign.
