The Week of March 6th - March 10th

8th Grade:
 

We continue this week working with functions. We will start the week learning what characteristics we can use to describe functions. We will learn to identify linear functions and non-linear functions. Next, we will graph functions.  We will finish the week comparing functions written as equations to functions represented by tables. We will have a quiz on Thursday, March 9th.  The quiz will cover identifying the domain and range of a relation and creating a function table.

7th Grade: 

We continue this week calculating the area of composite figures. Next, we will find the surface are of prisms and composite solids. We will have a quiz on Thursday, March 9th, covering polygons and solving for the missing angles of triangles and quadrilaterals. Google classroom will have a list of the vocabulary terms students will need to know for the quiz.
