The Week of November 28th - December 2nd

I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving and enjoyed the break!

Reminder: No School Friday, December 2nd due to our Faculty Inservice Day.

8^th Grade:

Monday is Accelerated Math.  On Tuesday, we continue working with x- and y-intercepts, as well as slope. We will use slope intercept form (y = mx b) to write linear equations. We will finish the week graphing linear equations using the x-and y-intercepts.  Our quiz on this unit is tentatively scheduled for Thursday, December 8th.

 

7^th Grade:

Monday is Accelerated Math.  On Tuesday, we begin working with percent increase and decrease.  We will also use the percent of change and original amount to find the new amount.  We will finish the we learning about mark-up and discount and how each is calculated.
