Mrs. Laura Kovatch, Fourth Grade

Hi! My name is Laura Kovatch and I teach fourth grade Language Arts and Science. This is my eleventh year here at St. John Fisher, and I feel so lucky to be part of such a wonderful school community. Outside of school, I love to travel and spend time with my family, especially my beautiful daughter Katelyn. I am looking forward to a wonderful school year together!

Human Body Shirts!

Posted on Jan 29, 2018

We have finished our study of the human body!  To end our unit, we made human body t-shirts!  The students had a great time, and they were so excited to wear them and show-off their work!  They have really become experts on the systems we have studied!

Circulatory System-Our Blood Models

Posted on Jan 08, 2018

Before Christmas break, we finished our study of the circulatory system.  One of our activities was to make models of blood.  The students learned all about what makes up our blood and the jobs of all of the different parts.  Then they worked in their groups to plan their models.  After making their models, the students created drawings of their models and labeled the different parts.  The students also wrote a paragraph about blood.  We learned a lot and had fun too!
