I hope everyone enjoyed their Labor Day weekend!
We have a short, but busy, week ahead in 4th Grade!
Language Arts-This week we will continue to study the four types of sentences. We will also begin learning about complete subjects and predicates. In Writing we will be discussing the parts of a paragraph and working to identify those parts in some different writing samples.
Science-We will continue learning about how to analyze and create graphs. We will be using data to make our own bar and line graphs this week! There will be a graphing quiz next Thursday, September 12th.
Spelling-We are on Unit 2 this week, and our test will be on Friday.
*Wednesday is Barraco’s Special Lunch Day
**Wednesday is also our Back to School Night from 6:30-8:00! The 4th grade presentations will be in my homeroom, Room 212. There will be three 4th grade presentation times: 6:50-7:05, 7:10 - 7:25, and 7:30 - 7:45. Please let me know if you have any questions. I look forward to seeing you there and sharing more about 4th grade with you!
*Our first all school mass will be this Friday at 1:00. All are welcome to join us!
Have a wonderful week!
In Language Arts last week, students presented their "Brown Bag Biographies". The students did such a good job, and I loved learning some new things about everyone! Here are some pictures of the students and some of their favorite things.
