Week of August 28th

Posted on Aug 28, 2017

We completed our first week of 4th grade!  We had a busy, but fun week!  In Language Arts, students presented their "Brown Bag Biographies".  All of the students did such a good job, and I loved learning some new things about everyone!  Here are some pictures of the students and some of their favorite things.

This week, we will have a regular schedule of switching classes and getting right to work! Wednesday is Meet The Teacher Night.  I hope you can stop in for a visit!  I look forward to seeing everyone!

Language Arts-This week we will begin our first unit and start learning about the different types of sentences. Students will also finish up their Summer Snapshots activity. We will also be writing our first Prompt of the Week assignment.

Science-We will begin by learning about important vocabulary and tools that scientists use when conducting experiments and investigations.  We will even take a trip to lab this week!

Reminder-There is no school next Monday, September 4th.  Enjoy the long weekend!
