Week of March 25th

Posted on Mar 25, 2019

I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend!  I can't believe it is the last week of March!  The year is certainly flying by!

Language Arts-We will begin Unit 10 in our Vocabulary books this week.  We will also review many of the grammar concepts we have covered so far this year.  We will then be taking a little break from our grammar book to learn about figurative language and poetry.  We will also finish up our Women's History Month presentations this week, and we will complete another timed writing prompt.

Science-We will continue our study of thermal energy and heat.  We will discuss how heat moves and what makes a material a good conductor or insulator.

Spelling-We are on Unit 28 this week, and our test will be on Friday.

*Students can wear their favorite baseball shirts on Thursday in honor of MLB Opening Day!

**Special Lunch forms are due by Friday.

***We will be taking the Aspire test next week (April 2nd – 5th).  Students will need five new #2 sharpened pencils with erasers.  Thank You!

Have a terrific week!
