Mrs. Laura Kovatch, Fourth Grade

Hi! My name is Laura Kovatch and I teach fourth grade Language Arts and Spelling. This is my fourteenth year here at St. John Fisher, and I feel so lucky to be part of such a wonderful school community. Outside of school, I love to travel and spend time with my family, especially my beautiful daughter Katelyn. I am looking forward to a wonderful school year together!

Week of November 16th

Posted on Nov 16, 2020

I hope everyone enjoyed the weekend!  Here is some information about ELA and Science this week.

ELA-We have finished up our unit on nouns.  Our unit test will be on Thursday.  Review sheets will be worked on in class and sent home on Tuesday.  We will go over them together on Wednesday, and then they can be used to study.  We will be finishing up our animal adaptation papers this week.  Final copies are due next Tuesday, the 24th.

Science-This week we will be learning all about how the human eye works and how we are able to see.  We will also be learning about the eyes of some different animals and what makes them special.  The students will even do some research in computer class on this topic!

Have a wonderful week!
