Week of November 4th

I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend!

Language Arts-We have completed our unit on nouns, and our test is on Wednesday.  We will then be moving on to study verbs. 

Science-We will have our animal characteristics and adaptations test on Tuesday, November 12th.  We will be doing some review activities throughout this week.

Spelling-We are on Unit 11 this week, and our test will be on Friday.

Thanks to everyone for bringing in Halloween treats for the kids to enjoy! Here are some pictures from Halloween.  In Language Arts we worked on our descriptive writing skills and created our own monsters.  The students wrote descriptions and then read their pieces to other students, who drew a picture based on the description.  The students had a ton of fun sharing their descriptions and creating their drawings!  We also enjoyed some Halloween treats and played Halloween Science Bingo!
