Week of September 30th

I hope everyone had a terrific Homecoming weekend!  The students had so much fun participating in the special theme days and at the pep rally on Friday! 

Language Arts- We had fun getting out of our seats to review subjects and predicates last week!

This week we will be discussing compound and complex sentences.  We have completed the first unit in our vocabulary book.  We will have a vocabulary quiz on Tuesday.  We will also begin planning and drafting our next writing piece. 

Science-This week we will be studying some adaptations that plants have that help them survive in different environments!

Spelling-We are on Unit 6 this week.  Unit 6 is a review unit, and our test will include words from each of our previous units. Students have marked the tested words in their Spelling books.  We will have our test on Friday.
