Work from Homework Directions

Due to the school closure, assignments have been prepared for the students to continue reviewing material and learning while at home.  Please let us know if you have any questions. Thank you for working with us through this process!

Week 1

Math

-Complete math packet. *The packet is intended to be done over the course of the week.  Please have your child work independently as much as they can.

-Practice Reflex, basic facts, and/or Khan Academy (geometry, fractions, decimals) for at least 15 minutes a day.

Religion

-Read Chapter 9 (pages 143-149) throughout the week and complete activities.

-Complete worksheet and color in the Lenten cross as you complete your Lenten promises.

English

-Complete pages 1-4 of adverb unit review packet (reviewing adverbs and good/well)

-Complete pages 114 and 115 in your vocabulary books and take unit 11 quiz independently

Science

-Read “What Happens When Objects Collide” (Front and Back) and complete accompanying questions.

Reading

-Complete Worksheet Pgs. 37, 47, 79 & 80 of Review & Study Skills Packet

-Read The Grasshopper and the Ant and The Lottery and answer questions for both

-15 minutes of independent reading each day

Social Studies

-Practice with Midwest Region State and Capital Flashcards

-Study Midwest Region Study Guide Map

-Complete the Unit 2 - Lesson 3 Vocabulary with pictures in notebook

Spelling

-Complete Unit 27 (pages 178-181)

 

Week 2

Math

-Complete packet.  *This packet was originally intended to be part of our Aspire review. **The packet is intended to be done over the course of the week. 

-Practice Reflex, basic facts, and/or Khan Academy (geometry, fractions, decimals) for at least 15 minutes a day.

 

Religion

-Read Chapter 10 (pages 155-162) and complete activities.

-Continue with Lenten promises and coloring in your Lenten cross. 

 

English

-Complete Prepositional Phrases Worksheet in packet-Both Sides

-Complete paragraph of the week prompt: You can choose between “My Invention” or “Most Important Invention”   *Write final draft on looseleaf. **Feel free to write more than one paragraph and/or include a drawing! 

Science

-Complete “Read It” Activity and  fill in the chart with at least 3 facts about each type of energy.

 

Reading

-Complete Worksheet Pgs. 87, 88, 89 & 90 of Review & Study Skills Packet

-Read Winning the Vote and answer the questions

-15 minutes of reading each day

 

Social Studies

-Read Sections A-D of Unit 2 – Lesson 3 & answer the A-D questions in “S-L” format in notebook

-Practice with Northeast Region State and Capital Flashcards

-Study Northeast Region Study Guide Map

 

Spelling

-Complete Unit 28 (pages 184-187)
