7th & 8th Grade Religion-Week of Sept. 6th

This week we will be celebrating the beginning of the school year with an all school liturgy, hosted by the 8th grade,on Friday, Sept. 9th at 1:15PM...All are invited!

***7th Grade Religion***

This week, we will be continuing in out textbook Blest Are We.  We will be continue our discussion of the role of the gospel writers, their individual accounts of Jesus' life, and the differences in each of their writing styles.  As we continue our discussion of oral tradition, the students will be required to bring in a story or phrase that has been orally passed down to them from their own family members.

***8th Grade Religion***

As the leaders of the school, we will begin our school year by preparing for the first all school mass.  We will also be discussing this year's school theme, "Let your Light Shine!" as well as ways we can spread an awareness of our theme to the rest of our SFJ classmates and parish community.
