7th & 8th Grade Religion-Week of September 9th

Posted on Sep 08, 2019

Thank you to Ms. Chermak and the 8th grade class for hosting our first all school mass this past Friday.  They did a beautiful job presenting this year's school theme, "Angels Among Us."

Excitement is in the air as we all anticipate the arrival of Fisher Fest this weekend.  Fisher Fest offers many service opportunities for both our 7th and 8th grade students.  Lists reflecting these service opportunities will be posted on the service board in my homeroom.  Students are encouraged to follow the "golden rule"...If you sign up, you are expected to show up...Please and Thank You!

***7th Grade Religion***

This week we will be correcting our chapter one review and chapter one study guide.  We will be reviewing for our test which will be on Wednesday of this week.  In order to prepare for the test, students should review their corrected chapter review and study guide, go over class notes written in their religion notebooks, and study their vocabulary flashcards that were assigned this past week.

***Students should continue to work on their FIVE hours of service hours required for this first trimester.

***8th Grade Religion***

This week we will be working on a graduation activity, illustrations of our names which includes symbols of our faith, heritage, and extra-curricular interests.  We will also begin working on posters to reflect this year's school theme "Angels Among Us."  These posters will be hung in our halls to remind our classmates that angels among us help us to fly like falcons, encouraging us to SOAR above daily challenges and in turn, lead us to make good choices for ourselves and others.

***Students should continue to work on their EIGHT hours of required service for this first trimester.
