Welcome back to the 2018-2019 school year.  I will be teaching seventh and eighth grade religion this year and am looking forward to reuniting with our eighth grade students as well as meeting and getting acquainted with our seventh grade students.  The teachers in the Jr. High are committed to creating and fostering a positive learning environment in which we hope to see each of our students grow both spiritually and academically.

The Jr. High faculty is very excited about our new Principal, Jim Fornaciari, our four new faculty members, enhancements we have made to the Jr. High curriculum, and our continued integration of Chrome books into our every day curriculum.  We will be meeting with the 7th and 8th grade students on the first day of school and will be discussing the behavioral and academic expectations of the Junior High as well as the directives regarding use and care of their Chrome books.

Effective communication is a very important component of your child's academic and personal success here at St. John Fisher. Please feel free to contact me or any of the other Jr. High teachers with any questions or concerns you may have throughout the school year. I am looking forward to a wonderful school year with your son or daughter and am looking forward to seeing you at the "Back to School Curriculum Night" on Wednesday, August 29th.  The evening for Jr. High parents will begin at 6:30 in the church with a greeting and blessing from Fr. Ken.  Our new Principal, Jim Fornaciari, will then share his vision of the 2018-2019 school year.  Parents will then be invited to listen to the Jr.High faculty share an overview of their curriculum for the school year, grading policies, and classroom routines.  We look forward to seeing all of our parents on Wednesday, August 29th.
