Welcome back to the 2017-2018 school year.  I will be teaching seventh and eighth grade religion this year and am looking forward to reuniting with our eighth grade students as well as meeting and getting acquainted with our seventh grade students.  The teachers in the Jr. High are committed to creating and fostering a positive learning environment in which we hope to see each of our students grow both spiritually and academically.

We are very excited about introducing the enhancements we have made to the Jr. High curriculum, as well as the introduction of the chrome books to our every day curriculum.  We will be meeting with the 7th and 8th grade students on the first day of school and will be discussing the behavioral and academic expectations of the Junior High students and directives regarding use and care of the chrome books.  On my blog post, under Parent Information, you will find valuable information in the parent letters which outline the curriculum and expectations of the students in my 7th and 8th grade religion classes.

Effective communication is a very important component of your child's academic and personal success here at St. John Fisher. Please feel free to contact me or any of the other Jr. High teachers with any questions or concerns you may have throughout the school year. I am looking forward to a wonderful school year with your son/daughter and am also looking forward to meeting the parents of our Jr. High students at our Open House on Wednesday, August 30th, at 6:30 PM.
