Mrs.Carole Scannell Junior High Reading/Language - 7th

My name is Mrs. Carole Scannell and I am the 7th grade ELA teacher.  I have been a parishioner for more than twenty years, and been involved in a few church activities.  I have taught at a few different schools in the area, but look forward to my new adventure here at St. John Fisher.  My five children are all graduates of St. John Fisher which brings me great pride.

Week of October 26th

Posted on Oct 25, 2020

Welcome back to another full week of school with Halloween in the background!  On Friday, October 30th, the junior high can wear black/orange and be out of uniform.  For reading this week, we will be finishing up with our first novel Crossover with different activities like cause/effect, plot pyramid, questions, and quiz.  In writing we will be using a choice board to pick from nine different activities, ultimately choosing three to work on.  In language we will continue to work through our parts of speech.

Thanks to all who have been working very hard to follow the Covid protocol and wear their masks, wash their hands, and keep social distance.  If we all work together, we will continue to have the privilege of going to school at St. John Fisher!!!
