Dear SJF Families, It is hard to believe that we are more than half way through the month of April. Our Falcons are loving the warmer weather. Springtime always ignites a newfound energy in all of us! We love taking advantage of opportunities to learn and play together outside! It seems like the school year is moving forward at a rapid pace, but we still have a lot of work to do! Please join us in encouraging your Falcon(s) to keep working hard, to remain focused and to finish this year strong! You’ve got this Falcons! We are so excited for next week’s Spring Musical! Our talented theatrical Falcons have been working diligently for months on their upcoming performances. Please join us next week at the Conner T. Lowry Gym to enjoy SJF’s version of High School Musical Jr. See the flyer below for additional information. We are all in this together! Thank you for choosing St. John Fisher School and for entrusting your most precious gifts to us each and every day. You belong here. In unity and hope, Mrs. Maura Nash

Libbie Murphy & Anne Weber 3rd grade
November 20, 2022
One of our school themes is “Fly Like a Falcon”. Falcons SOAR above, capturing an aerial view of what is going on below. We are encouraging our school community to “SOAR above” things that might bring us down, not allowing us to be our best selves. We are on a school-wide crusade to “Fly Like a Falcon”, lifting one another up, celebrating the positive interactions, and kind behavior that our students and staff demonstrate each and every day. This week, we recognize 3rd graders, Libbie Murphy & Anne Weber. Recently, Libbie and Anne were outside playing in the church parking lot with their class during recess. While Libbie and Anne were playing, they noticed a sealed church envelope. This envelope contained a family’s weekly cash offering inside. Libbie and Anne immediately told their teacher and then personally returned that envelope to Fr. Ken in the rectory. Libbie and Anne exude integrity and honesty and we are so proud of them for doing the right thing. Thank you Libbie and Anne for being a phenomenal example to us all. You have reminded us of the importance of doing the right thing, even when no one is looking. Keep flying like a Falcon, you both are making a difference!
