Friday Thoughts 10/26/18

THANK YOU for your generous support of our baby bottle project and the Diabetes collection today.  SJF students are certainly making a difference in the world!

The next Queen of Hearts drawing is tomorrow night at Cork & Kerry and the pot is over $52k!  Tickets are 6 for $5.  Numbers that have already been picked:

4 - 7 - 8 - 12 - 14 - 16 - 17 - 18 - 20 - 22 - 24 - 25 - 31 - 33 - 37 – 41

Don’t forget our Sunday mass challenge - tickets are given in the back of church after Saturday 4:00 mass and Sunday after the 8, 10 and noon masses.  The grade level with most tickets after this weekend with get a prize on November 2nd as well as a no uniform day!  

6th-8th grade boys’ basketball evaluations are Sunday night:

7-8pm.    6th grade
8-9pm.    7th grade
9-10pm   8th grade

Next week is very busy!

We hope to fill the church on Monday night at 7 at our Cyber-Safety Event.  Parents from neighboring parishes will join us.

Don’t forget to bring in your decorated pumpkins on Tuesday morning for our contest.

Wednesday is Halloween!  Students in PreK-4 can wear costumes and 5-8 can be out of uniform in black and orange.

High School Options Day for the single sex schools is on Thursday morning.

Our school All Saints Day Mass is on Thursday, November 1 at 1 p.m. – all are welcome.

Women’s Club has some great events coming up:

Please Join The SJF Women's Club for "Bunco Night" on Tuesday 11/20 @ 7:00pm!  $10 entry fee, cash prizes, refreshments,  and  bring a snack to share with friends.  A great way to kick off Thanksgiving week. 

The SJF Women's Club Holiday Lunch and Vendor Boutique at Ridge Country Club is back!  Please join the women of the parish in kicking off the holiday season!  All details are on this attached flyer.
