Farewell from Sr. Jean

Dear St. John Fisher Families, Thirty years ago Sister Michele, my predecessor here at school told me she was leaving St. John Fisher and asked if I would consider applying for the position. I was very familiar with the school since I grew up as a St. Cajetan Warrior (yes, even a cheerleader!) and knew the school had a great reputation. I was teased that while contemporary religious women were going to Tanzania and Peru, my missionary zeal carried me across 103rd Street!

SXU Annual Turkey Shoot & Open Gym

The Saint Xavier University Shannon Center will host the Annual Turkey Shoot and Open Gym on Friday, November 17 from 6:30pm – 8:00pm! The cost is $5 per team to participate! A team is comprised of a parent/guardian and a child. Grades 8th grade and under are welcome!

All School Field Trip

We are excited to announce that we are planning an all school field trip to see a special showing of the movie, WONDER, at the Crestwood theater complex on Wednesday, Dec. 6. The cost of the trip will be $13.00 which includes bus transportation, and the show. The trip is intended to complement a series of grade level appropriate activities planned for the season of Advent and our preparation for Christmas.
