The St. John Fisher S.O.A.R. group had an amazing time visiting Smith Village on a cold December Tuesday after school. Over forty S.O.A.R. members hopped into cars, driven by parent volunteers, and headed over to the retirement home to spread a little Christmas cheer, trivia, and fun! The students enjoyed meeting and mingling with the residents of Smith Village. The seniors really enjoyed the visit from our “young, happy, polite kids”! They especially liked our sing-a-long of the St. John Fisher traditional song of Children Go Where I Send Thee. What a great way to spend an icy afternoon – bringing smiles and merriment to the sweet folks at Smith Village!
