Dear SJF Families,

We hope you are finding time to enjoy this holiday season with your loved ones in spite of this unique time. We continue to make every effort to establish a sense of normalcy for your children in the building. With the help of our amazing SOAR students and dedicated and creative teacher moderators, we have many COVID-SAFE activities planned including classroom door decorating contests, ugly sweater day and Polar Express Pajama Day. This past Tuesday we also celebrated our first virtual mass as a school on the Feast of the Immaculate Conception. Thank you to Dr. Chermak and Fr. Ken along with our fabulous fourth grade class and their teachers and Mrs. Maxwell and Mrs. Corley for making this possible. We would also like to give a huge shout out to our incredible FSA who has spent countless hours planning this weekend’s SANTA visits as well as the 12 days of Christmas Teacher and Staff Celebration. Your efforts are making this difficult time so special and we are just so grateful for you!

We are just 7 short school days away from Christmas Break. As always, thank you so much for your continued support and caution as it relates to our health and safety protocols. Because of you, the overall health of our school is stronger than ever as we enter into our 14th week of in-person learning! We are appreciative of your partnership and honesty which allows to continue the privilege of learning in our awesome school.

In unity and hope,

-Mrs. Maura Nash
