SJFS Students and Teachers

Why SJF?

St. John Fisher School is Roman Catholic located in the historic Beverly-Morgan Park community on Chicago’s Southwest Side. See our School Highlights here.

Our large campus is home to students in grades pre-K through 8, most of which come from within a one-mile radius of the school. There is a strong sense of pride in the school and in the community which has been described as “a village in the city”.

The lives and legacies of St. John Fisher and our forebearers live in all of us who continue to drive the success of our mission today. We continue to be one of the largest and most vital parishes in the Archdiocese of Chicago, with nearly 2,000 registered parishioner households and over 600 students enrolled in our school, and we look forward to many more years of continued success together in the future under the leadership of Fr. Ken and Mrs. Nash.

We are a vibrant and high achieving community: A “Catholic Community Like No Other.” We welcome you to read about our Proud Past  and Unlimited Future and look forward welcoming you to our school.

The faculty and staff at SJF are committed to Our Mission and we hear time and time again that our teachers help set us apart.  We are very proud of that and each and every teacher that joins our team continues to be committed to the students, the parents, the community and the profession.  We invite you to learn more about our dynamic Early Childhood team

We look forward to welcoming you to be a part of the St. John Fisher parish and school community and answering any questions that you may have.
