Dear SJF Families,

We have so much to be grateful for as a school community. I cannot believe that tomorrow is May 1st! We are in the home stretch of this unprecedented school year. I am so proud of all of us and thankful to be a part of this caring, supportive and resilient community. Stay tuned for a letter next week discussing our budget, tuition and fee structure for the 2021-2022 school year and a glimpse into the improvements we are making for our bright future.

Please join me in praying for our spirited second graders, their families and their teachers as they prepare to make their First Holy Communion tomorrow. Each cohort will have their own mass at 10, 12 and 2. Thank you for sharing in this excitement! Each year, under the guidance of Dr. Chermak, our second graders learn and recite this prayer that I would like to share with you: “May the Lord always bless you and keep you. May his face always shine upon you. May you know his compassion and mercy. May the Lord walk beside you forever.”

Thank you for your commitment to Catholic education, but specifically St. John Fisher School. We are so grateful for each and every one of you! I continue to pray for the resiliency and well-being of all of our students and families.

In unity and hope,

-Mrs. Maura Nash
