Holly Mueller 3rd Grade

Posted on May 04, 2021

This year, our school theme is “Fly Like a Falcon.” Falcons SOAR above, capturing an aerial view of what is going on below. We are encouraging our school community to “SOAR above” things that might bring us down, not allowing us to be our best selves. We are on a school-wide crusade to “Fly Like a Falcon”, lifting one another up, celebrating the positive interactions and kind behavior that our students and staff demonstrate each and every day. This week we recognize third grader, Holly Mueller.

The FSA has been organizing COVID-safe fundraisers, like the S & T vouchers, throughout the year to benefit our school in different ways. With the money raised from the most recent voucher incentive, the FSA generously and thoughtfully donated new recess equipment for every grade! So, thank you for your support of this program! Obviously, going outside is a real treat and the highlight of the day as the kids can take a mask break and run around after having to remain in the same seats all day. During recess last week, one of the dodge balls that Holly was playing with popped. Holly felt so sad about the new equipment breaking on her watch that she used her own allowance money to replace it. Holly also called a member of the FSA to report the accident and assure her that she would take care of it. Holly, you are as equally responsible and honest as you are kind, funny and smart. Thank you, Holly, for going ABOVE AND BEYOND! You are steadfast in your desire to always be honest and do the right thing. You are a remarkable example to all of us and we are proud that you are a Falcon! You are brave. You are honest. You are unique. You are making a difference!
