Dear SJF Families,

Happy Summer! I hope you are enjoying every second of your well-deserved break! I cannot believe that it is mid-July. Where has the time gone? Though we are all enjoying the much-needed time away and slower pace of life that summer brings, we are also hard at work preparing for this upcoming, more normal, school year. Below are some important announcements and information that you need to be aware of as we slowly inch closer to the start of the school year.

I know the masking policy and other COVID related restrictions weigh heavy on your mind. The archdiocese is planning to share updated guidance regarding these topics in the coming days. However, archdiocesan grammar schools have been instructed to plan for a much more “normal” school year with significantly less restrictions. We are looking forward to many events and details that were absent last year including in-person gatherings and parent nights, extracurricular activities and ETC’s, sporting events and much more! Our faculty cannot wait for the return of flexible seating and tables in their classrooms. As we get closer to the start of the school year, I will keep you abreast with all the necessary COVID related details that will impact us this year.

Have a fabulous remainder to your summer. I hope and pray that you are all experiencing the countless blessings that the warm summer days have to bring! Thank you for your continued support of Catholic education, but specifically St. John Fisher School.

In unity and hope,

-Mrs. Maura Nash
