    No doubt your children came home singing “Let’s Go Fly a Kite” after attending the Drama Club’s production of Mary Poppins. The production is Broadway quality with delightful singing, dancing, and staging. What a showcase for some amazing student talent and faculty direction.     It's very hard to believe today, but yes, the kids can begin wearing shorts on May 1st. There will be a 'short sale' during after care hours (2:30-6:00) in Kane Hall on Thursday and Friday (4/19 & 4/20) Shorts are $1 per pair. Guidelines from the handbook: During the warm weather months, (Aug/Sept and May/June) students may wear khaki or navy walking shorts or capris as part of the school uniform. Nylon shorts are not permitted. Shorts cannot be more than two (2) inches above

    Dear St. John Fisher Families, Thirty years ago Sister Michele, my predecessor here at school told me she was leaving St. John Fisher and asked if I would consider applying for the position. I was very familiar with the school since I grew up as a St. Cajetan Warrior (yes, even a cheerleader!) and knew the school had a great reputation. I was teased that while contemporary religious women were going to Tanzania and Peru, my missionary zeal carried me across 103rd Street!
