Easter Baskets - Need your help

To help make Easter a little brighter for the underprivileged of Robbins, again this year, we will be collecting Easter baskets for both adults and children. This year will be a little more challenging as our move to the Robbins Community Center has increased the number of Robbins residents who have discovered our PLD ministry.  We hope you can help! Baskets are due Friday, April 12th by 5 pm in Rectory.  You can send through school, also.

Here are some suggestions for creating baskets (Dollar Store items welcome!)

Children’s Baskets: candy, toys, socks, McDonald’s gift cards.

Women’s Baskets: candy, socks, shower gel (girly things), hand lotion, $5 or $10 gift cards to Walmart, Walgreens, CVS, McDonald’s.

Men’s Baskets: candy, socks, after shave, disposable razors, combs, (manly things), $5 or $10 gift cards as shown above.

Please be sure that the Easter baskets are completely wrapped in cellophane so that the contents will not spill out. Baskets can be dropped off at the rectory and place a sticker or gift tag to identify if the basket is intended for a child, man, woman or general.

As always, thank you for your continued generosity and amazing support of Pro Labore Dei. If you have any questions or would like to volunteer to help drop off on morning of Saturday April 13th, or to serve Easter Dinner on Sunday, April 28th please contact Pam O’Mara (773) 612-0281.
