Dear SJF Families, The warm weather and sunshine are adding to the excitement the end of the school year brings! As a faculty and staff, we are still on such a high from last week’s teacher and staff appreciation festivities; THANK YOU ALL AGAIN ! As our athletic seasons come to a close for the 2024-2025 school year, we would like to thank all of our parents and volunteer coaches and coordinators who donate their time and energy to our kids all year long. Without you, our sports programs wouldn’t be possible. We would also like to congratulate all of our athletes this year on a job well done! Way to go Falcons! Today was the Class of 2025's Ribbon Mass. Ribbons are symbolic of so many stages of our lives, including special occasions and celebrations. Congratulations to our 8th grade class. We are so proud of this class and so sad to see them go. One thing we know for sure is that their future is oh so bright! This week our Falcon actors performed Finding Nemo Jr . and it was SPECTACULAR! From the student designed set, to the costumes, the lights, the choreography, the singing and dancing, the crew members and everything in between, our talented Falcons wowed us and stole our hearts. Thank you to all of the students...

One of our school themes is “Fly Like a Falcon”. Falcons SOAR above, capturing an aerial view of what is going on below. We are encouraging our school community to “SOAR above” things that might bring us down, not allowing us to be our best selves and to be mindful of those around us who might need our help and support. We are on a school-wide crusade to “Fly Like a Falcon”, lifting one another up, celebrating the positive interactions, and kind behavior that our students and staff demonstrate each and every day. This week we recognize 3rd graders Nora Larmon & Katherine Burg. Last week, we noticed that students were writing and drawing on the girls' bathroom stalls in the 3rd and 4th grade hallway. We engaged in a meaningful conversation with the 3rd and 4th graders about the importance of caring for our school, which serves as their second home, and treating it with respect. We talked about the significance of leaving things better than we found them, making wise choices, and using paper for writing! Nora and Katherine truly embraced our message and took action! They chose to forfeit their recess the next day to clean the stall doors. Nora and Katherine, we appreciate your leadership and your commitment to making our school the best it...
